Workers compensation comes from icare in NSW, WorkSafe in Victoria, WorkCover in Queensland and others — record whichever certificate you receive. Sole traders without workers can be marked “not applicable” with the reason.

Questions
Do you verify documents?
No. SubbieChase records the documents you and your subbies upload, tracks their expiry dates and sends reminders. It doesn't assess, approve, verify or certify any document, and it doesn't give safety or legal advice. If you set a minimum cover amount, it compares that number with the amount recorded on the certificate — that's all.
Do my subbies need an account?
No. Each subbie gets a private link that only shows their own documents. You can turn it off or replace it at any time.
How do the expiry dates get in?
Upload a certificate and we read the type, expiry date, insurer and policy number for you. Someone on your team checks the details against the file and confirms them — nothing is saved unchecked.
Can I bring my existing spreadsheet?
Yes. Import subbies from a CSV (Excel and Google Sheets can save one), then upload a batch of certificates — we match each file to a subbie by its name.
Where is my data kept?
Your records and files are stored in Sydney, Australia. Each builder's data is walled off from every other builder's by the database itself. When automatic reading is on, uploaded documents are sent to our AI provider to read — see the Privacy page.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, nothing is deleted — you can still see and download everything — but adding subbies, uploads and reminders pause until you do.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from the Billing page. Annual plans are two months cheaper than paying monthly.
